  27.       VirusGuard is the memory-resident TSR in Dr Solomon's Anti-Virus
  28.       Toolkit.  VirusGuard is an on-access scanner, running all the
  29.       time your PC is switched on.  Every file and disk accessed is
  30.       checked in a split second for viruses.  If a virus is found,
  31.       VirusGuard will intercept it and not allow the virus to run.
  32.       VirusGuard only requires 9k of memory (can be loaded high) and
  33.       yet can prevent infection from thousands of viruses, without
  34.       obstructing users.  It works completely transparently in the
  35.       background - the only time you'll know it's running is when it
  36.       detects a virus.

  39.       out (Virus Test Unit, Tampere University, 1994) VirusGuard from

  47.       WinGuard is a VxD: a full, 32-bit, device driver which runs
  48.       constantly in the background of Windows sessions.  WinGuard uses
  49.       the award-winning FindVirus scanning technology to scan all
  50.       executed or copied files.  If a file is virus-infected WinGuard
  51.       will prevent access to it and can be configured to send an alert
  52.       message to a system administrator.
